Cancellation Policy:
Your registration fee is non-refundable, so make every effort to attend and be on time. There will be no refunds for students who do not pass. Classes may be postponed or cancelled due to inclement weather of low enrollment. Refunds or one (1) transfer will be made ONLY if the Red Cross cancels the class due to inclement weather or low enrollment. Babysitter's Training:
$10.00
Like any other occupation, babysitting requires specific tools to maximize your abilities. This course teaches the knowledge, skills and confidence to care for infants and school-age children. Participants will learn how to be good leaders and role models; make good decisions, solve problems and stay safe; handle emergencies such as injuries, illnesses and household accidents, and write resumes and interview for jobs. Thanks to a special grant from Alcoa Fastening Systems we are able to offer this course at a significant discount. Upon successful completion of all the course requirements, participants will receive a Babysitter's Training certificate. This course is intended for youths 11 - 15 years of age.
